The Camillus Drop Point Knife has a Titanium Bonded blade with a brown handle. Titanium Bonded is not painted or plated, but an application of a unique formulation of titanium and chromium nitride to the surface of cutting blades that actually penetrates and treats the metal to create a permanent bond. incredible cheap knife
I love Camillus knives, and this one not disappoint. I'm from Brazil and I bought 3 knifes from Walmart, one for me and 2 for sell. Here, I sold for $30 each and buyers think is very cheap for the quality. Razor blade, great handle and perfect balance. a little thin, but, man, $9,46... LOL. Buy more then one if you can!!!
great buy!
Picked it up out of curiosity at my local store. Brought it home, fought the packaging, checked the blade to handle fit, checked the blade, all great. before testing the blade I ran it through my BLOCK sharpener a few strokes. WOW, great knife, hair shaving, light, very comfortable, Hate the sheath but works great! I have many many many knives, collector, hunter, outdoorsman stuff, would not hesitate to carry this along as a cutter. If you want to start splitting wood, cutting down a 100 year old oak for firewood, find something that is Made to do that stuff. This is a Knife and it is a great knife.
Bought 2 of these
So, I bought 2 of these and added them to the Camillus survival bags. It just barely fit in the bottom. This is a great knife for $10. I think it would be a good knife for $15, more than that and I think I'd look elsewhere. 1 of these knives was a little sharper than the other, but they sharpened easily. The sheath is a little tight fitting, but what can you expect at this price? I would buy again.
