46 Studebaker M5

Tech said i needed the 10101 wiring harness for M5 with tilt, SB Chevy, auto. Installed in 3 days spare circuits for future upgrades. Also ordered the nylon wire harness sleeves (little pricey) but does a fantastic job. Looks just like a pro did it! The ease was each wire is labeled which makes the job much easier!

Excellent quality, horrible instructions.

You can't deny the quality of a Painless Harness. The instructions, however, are horrible. This kit is lacking a lot if you're doing a complete rewire (like I am) and need connectors and terminals. So quality is 5 star, ease of use is 4 at best. It's a generic harness so count on needing additional pieces to fit your specific vehicle. There's no bulkhead connector, either, so if you have a factory hole for the old bulkhead connector (and you almost certainly do) you'll have to fabricate a metal plate to cover that hole and then cut out a hole for the supplied grommet to fit into. The instructions might suffice if rewiring cars is your hobby or profession, but it most likely isn't. I'm selling the generic kit I purchased on eBay because I just bought an American Autowire kit specific to my car ('72 Nova). The instructions are excellent and all the connectors and terminals I need are included. Yes it cost more but I should've gone that route in the first place.
