Don't own a cat! Mine thinks the rug is a scratching post. (She has learned better with with a few sharp ”NO”s!) I now have a cozy area in my apartment, with electric fireplace, to curl up this snowy winter!

I love this rug. It seems like it's made well. It's definitely not a light-weight rug, so you aren't going to have it sliding around on wood or tile flooring. I have only had it for a week, so it hasn't withstood much foot traffic. It has the usual shedding of any wool rug. I made sure to vacuum well after rolling it out. The colors seem much brighter in the photo than the actual rug, which is fine and what I had hoped for. The yellow in the photo is closer to a mustard and the red is not so fire-hot. The viscose is used in detailing, so expect a wool rug with viscose designs woven in here and there. It's more like 85% Wool, 15% viscose- at least on the surface. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
