Advecta Ultra for dogs is a monthly topical treatment and prevention of ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, biting flies & lice. Advecta Ultra contains the same active ingredients used in Bayer K9 advantix II for dogs. Advecta Ultra provides broad protection against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, biting flies, and chewing lice. It breaks the flea life cycle, killing all life stages of fleas, including adults, eggs, and larvae. Advecta Ultra is a convenient monthly topical for dogs that kills through contact. This means that fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes don’t have to bite your dog to die.

SIDE EFFECTS: Monitor your dog after application. Dogs may experience some temporary irritation at the site of product application such as redness, scratching or other signs of discomfort. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your dog with a mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If these or other side effects occur, consult your veterinarian or call 1-800-781-4738. If your dog has an unusual reaction to the initial application, consult a veterinarian before repeating application. The most common signs of incidental ingestion are excessive salivation and foaming at the mouth. If these symptoms occur, immediately feed your dog and continue to monitor your dog for the next 24 hours.

How to Apply: Invert tube over dog and use open end to part dog's hair. Squeeze tube firmly to apply all of the solution to the dog's skin, as directed below. Do not apply more often than once every 4 weeks. Apply one tube as a spot on the dog's back between the shoulder blades.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. WARNING. DO NOT USE ON CATS. PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS. HAZARDS TO HUMANS. WARNING. Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Harmful if swallowed. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. HAZARDS TO DOMESTIC ANIMALS. FOR EXTERNAL USE ON DOGS ONLY. Do not use on animals other than dogs. Do not use on puppies under seven (7) weeks of age or weighing less than 5 pounds. Do not get this product in dog's eyes or mouth. As with any product, consult your veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals. Individual sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for dogs. If signs persist, or become more sever, consult a veterinarian immediately. If your animal is on medication, consult your veterinarian before using this or any other product. ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS. This pesticide is extremely toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. Do not add directly to water. Do not contaminate water when disposing of product or packaging. SIDE EFFECTS:. Monitor your dog after application. Side effects may include signs of skin irritation such as redness, scratching or other signs of discomfort. Gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting or diarrhea have also been reported. If these or other side effects (such as lethargy or agitation) occur, consult your veterinarian or call 1-855-844-4375. DO NOT USE ON CATS - MAY BE FATAL. Keeps cats away from treated dogs for 24 hours. If applied to a cat or ingested by a cat, contact your veterinarian immediately.

If you have dogs, you need the Advecta 3
The Advecta 3 is just as good as Advantix, but it’s about a third of the cost. I have 2 dogs that go into a yard filled with birds and squirrels, rabbits, feral cats, groundhogs, possums and skunks, Its also filled with trees. If they were going to get fleas or ticks, this is the yard they would get them in, but using this product I have never seen one. The one time I tried a different brand, they both got fleas. I immediately put this on then again and within 12 hours, the fleas were gone. My favorite part of this though is that is also stops any kind of biting lice and mosquitoes. Again, another worry in my yard, that I don’t have to think about as long as they have the Advecta on. I would absolutely recommend to anyone with pets.
