Velveta cheese is the best to make Mac and cheese. I also use the velveta queso cheese . I've had many compliments when I made it for a pot luck dinner.

For cooking, Velveeta is the best!
I've been using Velveeta for years for Mac & Cheese, the cheese sauce for vegetables and grilled cheese sandwiches. There's simply nothing better (I sometimes add a bit of shredded Cheddar for an extra punch). My basic cheese sauce is 2 T. melted butter, whisk in 2 T. flour, stir and cook on low for 30 seconds to get rid of the "raw flour" taste, slowly add 1 C. milk, stir constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and chunk up 1 LB. Velveeta into thickened mixture and return to low heat, stirring constantly until Velveeta is melted. Pour over prepared pasta (my family prefers Rotini over traditional Elbows) for Mac & Cheese or over 1.5 pounds of cooked vegetables such as Broccoli or Cauliflower. Delicious!
