The way my momma makes it
I don't use this product as intended. I boil a huge pot of water with the seasonings and with chicken. (I use breast tenders but my mother always used a whole chicken to save money.) I pull out the cooked chicken and dice it then return to soak up all the flavor. When time for dinner I bring to a boil and add rice - just throw away the noodles. Boil the rice for 15 minutes so it will be firm. I am known for making beer bread when I prepare this. Tastes like I slaved all day and the whole house smells great!

So easy and delicious. Add some cut up or canned chicken. Add a can or 2 of mixed vegetables and you have a simple and delicious meal. I am a big fan of the thin noodles, so I always add extra.
