Ghost smoke & app that only works for 1 of 2 users

Alarms go off for no reason. At least my partner can reset them from their phone, while I, who am setup as the system owner can not! When they go off I have to find, and then physically remove the detector that thinks there is “too much smoke” to be hushed in the hall next to the sensor that says IAQ is good. I would have given them one star, but the app works for one of us at least. Thanks for the tinnitus. Model P4010ACS-WF

False Alarms

Purchased Kiddie Smart Alarms under 2 years ago (Dec 2023) to replace end-of-life standard Kiddie units. The units where finicky when contenting my Wi-Fi, after several attempts they would eventually connect. Now for the really disappointing issue, false alarms at random times started about a year after installing! Mostly at night when dead asleep and changes to different units some times. I removed them and cleaned by blowing low pressure compressed air through the units (FYI – The units looked dust free and clean from what I could see). But the false alarms still are an issue. On the last unit that gave repeated false alarms; I ran a self-test and when it completed it went right into a Fire alarm not allowing a hush because of “too much Smoke”! My old standard Kiddie units lasted for their 10-year life cycle without a single false alarm! My Kiddie Smart alarms have been a big disappointment and a real annoyance!

Ruined Night

These came stock in my wife and I's new apartment. All was well for about a month but we were just woken up at 2am by all three of our units going off for absolutely no reason. No smoke, steam, nothing. And they would not reset or anything. Had to pull them down and disconnect them hoping they'd stop making that horrible noise. Checked every room thoroughly, there is absolutely nothing that should set these off. Faulty product do not recommend.
