Galaxy S7 edge LED View Cover, Gold

I’m going to largely mirror Harleyguy317’s review of this case. It appears to be of excellent craftsmanship, made of something that may or may not be leather - hard for me to tell. It fits the phone really well, and doesn’t increase the overall size of the device much at all. That’s about where the positives end. The time you see displayed in the photos here only shows up for about 5 seconds when you shut the case, or when already shut, press the power button. After 5 seconds, it shuts off and never reappears. From what I gather, there is no option to turn it on indefinitely, thereby defeating the phone’s “always on” feature. Notifications do show up on the front cover, but it’s not all that useful as you can’t tell much more beyond the fact that someone is calling or a text message/email has been received. You still have to open up the cover to see who they’re from. As Harleyguy stated, the notifications on the cover also only occur once for like 5 seconds, and then never reappear. I agree that it should stay lit until the notification is cleared, or until the cover is opened. Lastly, I think the case largely eliminates the “edge” feature, as the anything normally displayed on the edge isn’t shown through the cover. I’m not at all sure what purpose this case would serve other than protecting the phone. For that reason, I do feel that the phone was a waste of money.

I like the features of the case but there are some faults. For one, there's a slot to place a card but it can't be a credit card. Also you are unable to download or create additional icons for the cover. I hope that I'm wrong and just haven't figured it out yet.
