Good product - shipping not so good

The product is good, an exact replacement for my original unit. I was a little disappointed that no care was taken to better prepare the product for FedEx ground shipment. The shipment came to me in the exact box that it was put in at the factory. The factory box is good for bulk palletized shipments, but not individual shipments going through a carrier such as UPS or FedEx. The outer shell was damaged and I had to bend the sheet metal around a little in order to get the original exterior wall panel to fit. Yes, the unit fits into a cavity in the side of the RV, and is not seen once installed. However, you would think the shipper would have put the product in a shipping carton to better protect it.
