Put this new rod to the test a couple of days ago. Threw a Rapala DT- 04 crankbait. Sensitivity great, casting great, handling bass great. Nothing over 3.5 lbs. caught, but I'm confident this rod has the necessary backbone to handle the job should that opportunity come. Rod is very light. Actually weighed 1/2 ounce less than its twin in the Veracity group, although the Veracity costs much more. Thank you Abu Garcia for the excellent pricing which gave many of us an opportunity to save our hard earned cash.

I bought one of these several years ago and love it. It casts well and has caused absolutely no problems whatsoever. When I had the opportunity to purchase this new one in Garcia's Black Friday sale I just couldn't pass it up. Unfortunately I have no rod to put it on so I guess I'll just have to buy another rod. Darn the luck!
