I ordered two of these chairs to go with an old solid wood table that I used as a child. They are an injection plastic type of chair. They are incredibly sturdy and well-made. The only negative I would say is that you will need to put felt pads on the bottom of the feet because there is a rough edge on them. Excellent price, excellent quality.
