Product details
Golden Self Blanching Celery is a stocky and resistant variety, that produces productive yields. Each stock grows thick with no strings and easily blanches, providing juicy and crisp celery. Plant seeds 6-12” apart indoors. After 3 weeks, seeds should germinate, and can be moved to individual pots 2 weeks later. 10 weeks after planting, seeds should be moved outdoors to areas with full sun or partial shade. Plants grow up to 30” tall, and seeds will reach full maturation after 85 days, and can then be harvested. To harvest, cut the base of the stocks just above the soil surface and extract the plant. After harvest, this variety can be stored in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. With a rich and crunchy taste, this celery is ideal for snacking as well as incorporation into salads and dishes that crave an extra element of crunchiness.
