Believe the hype.

This shoe is insane. I bought it because of other reviews and reading up on the tech (and also the awesome colors) even though I've never been a "real" runner. This shoe literally makes me want to be a runner - I've put more miles on these in the past three weeks than any shoe in the last year. Love all Saucony's but these are really amazing.

Pro vs Speed.

Speeds are a little softer than the Pro. Recommend training in the Speeds with a good long run once in awhile with the Pros. Pros are for race day or when it's time to gauge where you are for serious times. The extra $ for the Pros is in my opinion for the speedroll (helps propel you forward) which is noticeable better in the Pros. Overall two very good running shoes. Very satisfied with both.

Good fit for a wider foot versus Nike

Good fit for a wider foot. Great turnover and comfort on long runs. No blisters. I'm 76 and run 30+ miles a week. I use the speed for training and pro for racing. Use them in both road and trail meets. I run 10 minute miles and support is not an issue even for an old runner's foot. Used to run with Nike. Too narrow. Plan to run until I drop.
