Side handle material defective

This review is strictly on the side handles. The cooler itself works as I expect, it saves a lot of space while traveling and allows us to bring back more things. I also like to use it when we go to Costco and the grocery store to keep refrigerated items cold till we get back to the house. Now the blue handle material is crap, I've had the cooler a little over 4 year, and bring it in yesterday after a trip to the grocery store, one handle ripped in two, the other partially ripped. The material looks to be nylon, similar to any nylon tie down strap. But it tears apart with my fingers. Obviously this should not happen, and the material is faulty and of very bad quality. So much so, it should be covered under any material & workmanship warranty. See attached photos.
