Linon Stewart Counter Stool, 24 inch seat height

Inexpensive, functional stools. Pretty nice looking chairs if you aren't going to use them. The fabric is nice and it is really pretty. Slightly off white with the slightest bit of sheen. Very subtle. The chrome nailhead trim is nice but it is crooked on evey single one (we bought 3) They're also a little short for a counter height stool. Wish the seats were a couple of inches taller. If the foam in the seat wasn't so cheap and smashed down (we have one been using them for a couple of weeks) they would measure out to what the description says. Now after using them, they are just over 22 1/2" high. Love the high backs but the seat is SO uncomfortable to sit on. The foam cushion is so thin that the wood frame digs into your legs. If I hadn't bought them with the intention of slipcovering them, I would return them. I guess I will just add some extra padding to the seat when I make the slipcovers

We ordered 3. Two were easy to assemble. However, one of that chairs was not drilled/manufactured properly and was impossible to assemble and I have to return. I called customer service and they were not friendly... they are charging me for another chair and sending ground shipping next week, it will be about 2 weeks. After they get my damaged one back they will credit me for that damaged chair. Don't love that system. Plus, I have to haul this giant box to fed ex as they won't pay for pick up. Based on the policy I won't use hayneedle again. Sadly, because the 2 chairs that were not damaged look great and the price was good.
