It does come with non-removable padding so if this is something you don't want for your child I don't recommend purchasing but if you don't mind the padding it is a good buy. Nicely made. Soft and looked cute on her. My granddaughter is petite and the XS fit her nicely. The straps are adjustable which is a plus.
