Less damage to the hair than T18. Im more than 50% gray but have soot colored hair in the back with not much gray. i typically lift the very back with bleach then tone all over. This time, I left my roots dark not expecting this product to have more than 2 levels of lift with 20 volume developer. I was ver suprised when my roots lifted to a pale golden blonde. Because this product does less damage to my hair, I will use it instead of T18. The overall color result is awesome. Thank you Wella!!

Great toner for a subtle blonde effect

This is my favorite toner. It is a subtle tone of blonde so not a huge difference, but gets rid of yellow and orange unwanted tones! This is what I prefer. I usually mix it with wella T18 and volume 20 developer. I love the slight ash results and no orange or yellow tones after. I try to apply to my roots first then eventually pulling down any access toner to the tips of the hair.
