2ND PURCHASE

They did come up previously so I'm comfortable saying it will germinated this time.

Excellent Germination

My front yard is sloped and faces WNW. The neighbors across the street removed to large trees and my Periwinkle/English Ivy mix couldn't take the sun, the top 75% of the slope died out. I planted the seeds in flats until they were mature enough to transplant to the freshly tilled slope. The germination rate was exceptional in the flats. After transplanting to the yard, mulching and watering for a season these plant took off. The next year I had blooms and I didn't have to water them as much because they started providing their own shade on the soil. By the third year they needed no care and filled in very nicely. They are absolutely stunning when they bloom in spring and from a distance they really do look like a dusting of snow. I have never fertilized these plants and they thrive. Now that they are filled out, I hardly water then either. I wish I could post a few pictures, they are a wonderful groundcover for a slope that drains well.
