Gorgeous but hard to assemble
This lamp is quite elegant. It comes with all the installation hardware you will need. The assembly instructions were a generic set of instructions for another lamp. No problem, I'm mechanically inclined. The challenging parts were trying to get the glass envelope attached to the fixture. The installation tool they provided, while clever, was still a challenge getting the collar screwed onto the recepticle. The hardest part was the recepticle was slightly bent, and I couldn't get the bulb screwed into it. I had to loose the recepticle enough for it to wobble enough so the bulb would fit in the socket. It's also very cramped in there so if you have small hands, you will have an easier time. I will say that the unit was packaged very well and can handle the rigors of holiday shipping.
