Garnier Fructis Style Pure Clean Styling Gel 6.80 oz

I really like Pure Clean Gel. It is a thicker gel, so I only use about a quarter coin sized dollup for my entire curly head. I evenly distribute it right after shamp/cond. Next, I twirl shape my curls then cool air diffuse to dry it, then scrunch it out. Able to have 2 days of lovely curls. Happy that there arent any heavy cones in it! Super control of frizz on summer days. Highly recommend this stuff!

Sad to see so many poor reviews about the strong hold and trying to brush hair with gel in it *confused look.* Girl, kindly, wash your hair :) Pros/Cons: Okay so I have 4a-4b low-med density hair fine hair and the first time I used this product, although I loved the scent and the slippery consistency made application a BREEZE, once dried it did make my hair VERY firm and when I tried to manipulate my hair I could feel tension on my scalp and breakage. It did elongate my curls and I got compliments on how it looked longer & very nice. My solution: I decided to add a healthy amount of avocado butter (oil would work too) to my hair with the gel application. This solved the issue! I had all the slip, all the definition, and my hair was flexible and softer than using the gel alone. The strong hold keeps my curls from tangling during the week so it prevents hair loss and detangling in the shower is MUCH easier than after using a leave-in conditioner. My only complaint is I wish the size was bigger for the price. Moral of the story: don't bash a product bc it doesn't work for your hair type or application/removal method. For some of us it is perfect!
