Amazing Visuals!!!!

I work with English Learners and one of my best tools is visuals and this book is full of them!!! This book has an excellent balance of visuals and text, so my students never became overwhelmed with long and difficult texts. The comprehension questions that accompany each text also gave the students a chance to better understand the material. The infographics are also easy to integrate into lessons, because they cover important teaching points, like text structures and text features. My students were very engaged and interested in the topics covered in the book. One drawback I found is that even though the pages are write-on/wipe-away surfaces after continued use the pages did not come completely clean. If you plan on using this product for a long time make sure you make copies of the infographic for student use. I participate in the Brand Ambassador Program for Carson-Dellosa and have received this product for free to review.

A great resource for building visual literacy!

I love to use infographics when I teach as a way to build visual literacy, but it is often hard to find kid-friendly ones on a specific topic I'm teaching and time consuming to make your own! This is a great resource for introducing your students to the use of infographics as a visual representation of key information and data. I was thrilled with all the topics covered, almost all of my science and many social studies, and love the fact that there are questions on the back of each card for students to answer in writing. The fact that they come prelaminated is a huge time-saver and students can easily write on and wipe off!
