The pedestal offers two utility drawers and one file drawer with letter/legal filing system. Drawers on ball-bearing slides for smooth and quiet operation. One lock secures bottom two drawers. Please disregard my previous review if it is listed. The desk and hutch are awesome! I made a mistake during assembly and everything went together just fine. There was a bit of confusion on delivery dates, but it showed up within the timeframe they gave me. This desk/hutch is well constructed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Corners came chipped and the drawers where very fragile. Fair price for somewhat fair furniture.

The product never arrived when scheduled. Walmart had lost track of it. A 300lb desk was lost.. They advised me to cancel the order without even trying to locate it. Eventually it just showed up, out of nowhere, while on the system it is still showing "in transit". Horrible tracking system. Horrible customer support. As for the product - MDF. Don't spill anything on it, don't hit it with any sharp object. Drawer sliders are not smooth at all. Whole marked are a little off or missing in some places. Drawers' back panel has 2 holes not being used. They made 4 identical plates but the back ones should not have holes. They do and it shows when you open the drawers. Missing a few screws and plastic caps to hide bolts Other than that, as I said, 3 starts for the desk. A wood desk will be much stronger and not more expensive. But if you want a modern style desk then you have to go with the poor-quality ones
