Best year round cord if you take care of it, flexible in the coldest weather, I've had these for years. I still using the first one I bought and I'm a contractor. They may cost a lot, but worth the silicone coating cord they are for flexibility.

Test when you first receive it, mine was DEFECTIVE

I was shocked to learn that this cord simply did not work. Wait a minute, how can that be? It's just a cord with plugs on each end... that's what I thought. And since I specifically searched for over an hour to find an SJOOW cord built in USA, I thought I was golden. So much so, that I simply opened it up and routed in my movie theater from my projector on the ceiling, through the wall to my attic. Then casually routed the cord in the attic by simply loosely hanging it from Zip ties until I got to the location of the AVR. I fed the cord through the wall, and all is good. The next day I connected the new projector, then plugged into the power center. The projector wouldn't turn on. To make a long story short, the black conductor in the cord had no continuity, meaning it wasn't connected somewhere between the two ends. The first thing I thought, why didn't I check this cord first. Well, as described before, I thought I was golden with a high-end cord sourced in the US. Then I got angry, I had to order another cord, then spend another hour routing through the attic, which I did, and all is well. Stay away from this cord or at least check it before you even take it out of its packaging.
