Delta Trinsic: Tub Spout - Pull-Up Diverter

I'm writing this on behalf of my girlfriend who actually owns the Delta tub & shower unit, but I'm the one who removed the tub spout from the wall to find out why it suddenly stopped diverting. I actually sold Delta hardware years ago, so I told her I'd take a look for her. It turns out that the sealing gasket for the diverter gate was shot, only two years after installation. Although it's been a lot of years since selling Delta fixtures, Ii absolutely remember the quality of the builds being much better back then, with parts rarely wearing out under anything but extreme usage.
