Ordered this fireplace door 12/28/2023 from Walmart.com. I was unaware that it would be shipped from a 3rd party, Unbeatable Sales. Arrived broken. Was told to return to local store. I returned to Silsbee Tx Walmart. They shipped back. I was given tracking info and assured I would get a refund. Between 12/09/23 and 01/09/2024 I received notice that merchandise was received and refund approved. On 01/09/2024 I ordered the same door to replace the broken on. On 01/14/2024 my credit card statement posted the refund. Thinking all was settled I threw away the tracking recipt and correspondence. On 02/19/2024 I was notified that the refund had been reversed because the merchandice was not received by the vendor. I ordered from Walmart.com and charged the purchase to my Sams Club mastercard. Now I'm being passed back and forth between the 3rd party vendor who says they didn't receive the broken door and Walmart.com who says it's not their problem. I was assured that if the vendor didnt honor the return, Walmart would. I received notice today, 05/01/2024 that my dispute has been resolved but I still have not gotten my refund. My next step is to contact the Texas Attorney General about this matter.
