I don't have the strength to lift heavy pans and especially with liquids. These pans have flat bottoms which is important for cooking on glass top stoves. They are light and the handles remain cool. I like the contour feature of the pan. I have a contour Dutch Oven. These pans cook well at low temperatures. You do not need to use high temperatures to achieve the same results. I bought these pans because they are light weight even with food.

This stock pot is just right! From the wonderful non-stick inside and outside to the great handles and perfect lid that is not too domed to the great weight of the pan - not too heavy, not flimsy. I am thrilled to use this to make some delicious meals for my family!
