Good size and customizable
I needed an enclosure that didn't take up too much floor space and this is perfect for our small space. Our Syrian hamster is quite happy in his “condo” (as we lovingly call it). I primed and painted it white to fit in with our decor and hopefully to make it easier to clean. I didn't install the bottom “shelf” so our hamster would have more room to burrow. We put about 6 inches of bedding in the bottom and he loves that. The wheel, sand bath, water dish, food dish, toys, and hideouts fit perfectly above. Shelf below the enclosure can hold food, treats and supplies. Perfect.

Potential to be a great cage, but not worth it
Where the shelves attach was poorly connected so all the shelves I screwed in half fell off in shipping, so I had to get real creative so our hamster could actually climb. The shelves were spaced just enough she would have struggled if this didn't happen. Took about 4 hours total to build due to the poor base assembly. The hinges were not put on straight and cause it to not fit very well once complete. Arrived fast though.
