Omg! Bought this for my recently turned 1 grand daughter. Brought to her house just to show and it never left she immediately was able to sit on it herself and loves when it opens. She actually fell asleep and took a nap. Besides all her toys she goes to this sofa first as it is her personal space. I know this will work for years for her since I had one for my grandson. Get nesting spot for naps and sleepovers. Safe and so cute
