Brinsea EcoGlow Safety 600 Chick Brooder with Clear Plastic Cover

The best selling Brinsea EcoGlow Chick Brooders have been redesigned to be even safer, more economical and easier to clean. The new EcoGlow Safety 600 Chick Brooder is ideal for up to 20 chicks or ducklings and suitable for any waterfowl or game-bird chicks. It is also ideal for classroom hatches. This unit only uses 12 Watts (5% of the electricity of typical suspended heat lamps) because the chicks are in contact with its warm under-surface. The metal warming plate evens out hot and cold spots which occur with plastic heat plates improving heat radiation and the new flared skirt design retains more heat further reducing energy use. Unlike other chick heating plates the EcoGlow Brooders run at 12v from a mains transformer (supplied) – a much safer option than mains voltage and features a generous 10 feet power lead. Other features include height settings, an indicator light and a free clear plastic cover.
