The first one of these I bought broke because there were bubbles in the plastic on one of the teech, so I had to throw it away the first time I wore it. Other than using with a pony tail for lift, I don't see the value in this comb. I bought two more only because I wear a mantilla for Mass and this will help keep my bun in place or keep my hair high under the mantilla for effect. Other than that, it can only be applied/inserted on the plane/along the surface of your head, so what you think you might use it for may not be the way you can use it. I hope that makes sense. It's not a bad product; I just think people need to understand that if you cannot use it to "bump up" your hair in a pony tail, it's somewhat useless due to the appearance of the top of the comb. Since I'll be wearing it under a mantilla, I think it will be fine.
