Not sure because I'm a woman and never had bought a battery charger before but I hooked it up to my car battery and my car still wouldn't start. i noticed when looking product up before leaving my review that it says smart battery car charger, and my car is 2001, I've heard of smart cars so I don't know if I bought the right thing or not.
