There is nothing wrong with these tires other than that they have been tightly compressed during storage and shipping. As a result, it was impossible to properly seat the bead on the old rims. Believe me when I say that I tried every trick I could find online to get these tires to mount properly. I ended up having to buy inner tubes which forced the beads out as they were inflated. In round numbers, these tires were $100 and the inner tubes were another $50. For $200 I could have bought new tires already mounted on new rims and saved myself a heck of a lot of trouble and frustration. If saving $50 is that important to you, then buy these tires but also buy inner tubes at the same time. Otherwise, spend the extra $ and just get tires already mounted on the rims. I wish I had.
