THE PERFECT BED!!

Before buying this bed I was searching for around 2 months for the perfect one. I knew I wanted a fabric/upholstered headboard but I was extremely picky with the legs. I loved the look of when the legs of the bed were splayed at an angle and were thin. I also only liked when 4 legs were showing and some beds come with 6. Finally, I came across this one. It was like a match made in heaven!! I was so excited I finally found a bed that fit all my wants and needs. I immediately placed an order for two. The assembly was also extremely easy, my sister and I assembled both of them together and for reference we are two girls 17 and 18 and less than 100 pounds each. So we are pretty small LOL but found it easy! However, we found that a power drill was needed and a phillips head screwdriver couldn't do the job, so just keep that in mind. Overall, the bed is sturdy, easy to assemble, extremely cute and I'd highly recommend buying it!! It fits perfectly with our furniture and is the focal point of our bedroom. Love it :) #sweepstakes

So far, so good

I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by the Hayneedle service and quality of this bed. It came earlier than expected, with all the pieces and tools needed to put it together. I saw in an earlier review that someone needed a drill to put it together. I used a screwdriver and it worked out just fine. It took about 45 min to an hour to put together with two people. I have slept on it for two nights so far, with just my mattress and no box spring and it works wonderfully. It seems quite durable and makes no sounds when I move around. Its also REALLY cute, I got the gray one. (Will return to update this review if further details needed).

Platform good. Headboard cheap.

Supportive, surprisingly strong platform. Really impressed by the quality considering the low price. The headboard itself has two issues - as far as i'm concerned. 1) the legs that attach it to the platform are thin and flimsy. You cannot lean against the headboard. I did, and it snapped. I'm 5 3 and about 140 lbs. Manufacturer did send me a new leg, but headboard still flimsy in general. 2) the ""nail head trim"" is a plastic faux strip that runs across the headboard. Not real nailhead.
