Crippled Herring -Silver Jig

An Excellent Jig for coastal rockfish, lingcod, and halibut. Salmon will hit it too -but don't forget to pinch the barb. I like the single hook as opposed to treble hooks that come on many jigs. A strip of bait can be attached to the hook if fishing is slow but not necessary when jigged properly. Its also good to have some with color to match the local baitfish. A great all round jig to have in your tackle box.
