A Great little practice amp
I use this little amp for jamming at home, along with the Mooer GE100 multi-effects pedal I also bought from Walmart. I use an ebony Epiphone Les Paul and I love the way these all sound together. The amp's distortion side sounds great and clean side is very nice. For home use, a Great buy!

Monoprice 1x8 20 Watt SS Combo
This amp has very good sound especially for the price. The sound is better than quite a few similar sized amps that have effects. Having a mid range control on board helps this and a key ingredient. The Overdrive channel is pretty good especially with the gain control set at 2-3. and master at 7-8. Above that starts to gradually become a fuzz. I don't think this is quite what a metal type player would want gain wise but there is always the pedal option. It works well with a delay pedal and a 12 string pedal. So far I have around 6 hours of actual playing time on it and hope it continues to perform well. FWIW I have a Bugera 5 watt tube combo cover and it fits this amp slightly loose but does the job.

very happy!!!
just getting back into playing after a few decades off. this amp has good tone, the gain is good and the volume is plenty to practice and/or play at a small venue. VERY PLEASED !!!! Not a lot of bells and whistles.... but very good basic sound quality (now I need to get my playing back to where it once was )
