I borrowed a friends beats for months so I know how they work. The only complaint I have is sometimes if I pause my music for a long duration the play button doesn't work and I have to press play on my phone. But, it has only happened twice so far. Besides that I love them and use them everyday

Sounds like over the ear headphones

I'm hearing musical sounds I've never heard before on songs I've listened to for years. The phone has clear sound. I'm wondering why people would be walking around with big headphones covering their ears when this technology exists. Easy to workout in. I hated working out with wires getting in the way, so I would just listen to the music playing over the speakers at the gym, not anymore.

My teenager absolutely loves them.

I had my doubts about refurbished electronics. My teenage son is very picky when it comes to electronics. I myself am a little frugal and thrifty. These Beats by Dre meet my son's expectations for quality. He absolutely loves them and I love the reasonable price. The only thing I would caution you about is the color. The Siren Red looks more like pink. Other than that I would definitely recommend.
