I purchased these for my 2500 HD plow truck, so far they provide great traction on packed snow and ice and, freshly fallen unplowed surfaces alike. I got mine studded as I have several steep driveways. They definitely hook up in situations where other all terrain tires left me spinning, or stuck.

A great decision I do not regret

There are not a lot of choices for snow tires in Load E range (10 ply). I chose the Generals because I have had really good results with the Altimax RT43 passenger tires from General. I am SO glad I did! I will never run another winter without snow tires! The ride was smooth, and I experienced no traction problems all winter. My vehicle is a 1 ton Ford van, and if you have ever driven one you know that traction is a big problem. I feel like I and my family are much safer in the Wisconsin winter with these tires on the van. Also, Walmart had the best price on a full set, and my order was shipped to my house very quickly.

Put on a 2015 f150 to replace the no season wranglers for the winter. It takes a lot more for the traction to break loose in slippery conditions and the stopping improvement is awesome! I've had a lot of comments about how good they look also. I wasn't looking for 10 ply, but I wanted the deeper tread they offer. They were a tight fit for the installer to put on the stock Ford rims, but they haven't leaked in the cold weather.
