Works as advertised, but.....

Does this protect fill-in as promoted? Indeed, it does. Is it of good quality? That relies upon your meaning of good and quality. The help section joint with 2 thumbwheel screws at the base leaves the safeguard flimsy. You need to either force them down with pincers or go to the home improvement shop for some star washers to go between the two section parts. The froth has glue spread on a superficial level that faces you and the receiver, as though it was applied by a 10-year-old. Thus, I rate this at 3 stars. On the off chance that you wouldn't fret about paying $80 for something and all the more again to make it right, this seclusion safeguard may be for you.

Excellent BUT, IMHO, Not For Long Pro Mics

This is perfect for isolating extraordinary expert mics like Neumann TLM103 or my Apogee 96k. In any case, utilizing this on a mic where you talk into the end, similar to an RE20 or Heil PR40, moving the mollusk shell to work really with a long mic was an immense test ... so I returned what might have been heavenly with the right mic.
