More than meets the eye!

Researching along with practical applications over the years, I found it important to system match all components related to towing; In this case making sure my trailer tongue weight was within limits of the receiver hitch. This class 5 receiver is welded hell for stout and is working eXtremely well for my needs.

Quality Product, Great Value

Wanted the best Class V hitch available, I wasn't willing to settle for a generic Class III "adjustable to fit all" model. I used to fabricate hitches for myself & for friends so I know what to look for. Made in the USA, steel, welds & finish all good quality. Installation was fast & simple on my 03 Suburban. Instructions state to lower spare tire for easier installation, I didn't see any need as hitch attaches to frame between spare & bumper. Also didn't need wire fish for bolts on the Chevy's open frame rails. No better hitch on the market & no lower price than WalMart.

Nice Receiver Hitch

Very nice receiver hitch with weight ratings far greater than my 2000 F250. Installation was easy with the included hardware. The only issue was, the factory bracket, which was mounted to the rear bumper just left of center, for the 7-prong round and 4-way flat plugs had to be relocated as the depth of the 7-prong plug behind the bracket interfered with the massive size of this hitch receiver. The drop of this receiver hitch is 5-3/4" from the bottom of the frame rails to the top of the 2" square draw bar. Fits very snug below the factory bumper with only 1/2" between the bottom of the bumper and the top of the draw bar. Probably would not work any sort of "deep drop" rear bumper.
