Cute but a bit small

One I confused characters. I purchased this for my 5 year old son. He loves Super Mario. He is wanting all characters especially Donkey Kong (the character I should had chosen). My son likes that it does wind up and drives forward pretty fast. I wasn't happy on how small it is. But then my fault for not looking at dimensions. The price is outrages for the size. I understand that these toys are popular but a reasonable $8 would be great... not $15.
