Excellent Thiamine supplement!

I take this Benfotiamine supplement to support cellular autophagy during intermittent fasting and due to its neuroprotective effects. Thiamine deficit is associated with neurodegenerative processes and impaired autophagy. The advantage of taking this isolated form of thiamine (B1) is that it will not break the fast and activate the mTOR pathway, but instead supports autophagy. Finally, Benfotiamine is a much better absorbable form of B1 for many people. Benfotiamine is both part of my nootropic biohacking stack as well as my autophagy stack.
