"That's what SHE said"...
...It's GIGANTIC! This bulb could be used as a weapon. I had to return it but I did check it first and it lit the room in a subtle 40 watt amber glow. Not nearly as bright as I expected. Unfortunately, I had no lamp no ceiling fixture to use it. I tried. No lampshade can accommodate this bulb. I think it would look wonderful hanging in a corner from the ceiling corner from a socket and cord. It could really illuminate an array of plants.
