THE CLIP IS A 3 PIECE UNIT. MUCH BETTER IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR POCKETS THAT ARE HEAVIER THAN PAPER MONEY. THIS CAN GRIP VERY WELL. THE PICTURE MAKES THE LONG STRAPS LOOK A BIT SHORTER THAN THEY ARE. FOR A 44 WAIST YOU MIGHT WANT TO SHORTEN THE LONG STRAPS BY ADJUSTING TO IT UP TO MAKE IT TBHE SHORTEST. ORDERING ANOTHER. BUT SOME OTHER BRANDS SOME OTHER ONES HAD A PIECE OF PLASTIC SIZE OF A PENCIL ERASER. GREAT FOR TUXEDO PANTS. IF YOU HAVE A WALLET, MORE THAN 3 KEYS, AND A DOLAR IN CHANGE LIKELY PANTS WILL FALL DOWN.
