Shurtape PC-657 Premium Grade Duct Tape is a 14 mil premium-grade co-extruded cloth duct tape used in high-performance motorsports applications, pre-manufactured housing and RV assembly (seaming bottom boards), sealing HVAC ducts, and protection during metal peening operations.
This duct tape has excellent adhesion and tack characteristics can withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and is very durable. Also referred to as a motorsports 200 mph duct tape. Stocked in both black and silver colors.
PC 657 comes with Shurtape's Polyblended CO-EX technology with is a co-extrusion process which melds polyethylene, cloth, and adhesive in a single, high-temperature step which results in a permanent, airtight bond (creates added strength which will not delaminate).
Standards Met: Tested in accordance with UL 723; US Green Building Council – LEED Point Contributor Product, FSI 15/SDI 40. Carrier/Backing: polyethylene film with a polyester/cotton blend cloth carrier. Adhesive: natural rubber.
Thickness: 14.5 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 104 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 29 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service/Operating Temperature: 50F to 200F. Elongation: 11%. Flame Spread Index: 15. Smoke Development Index: 40. Core: 3-inch diameter.
