Brand new Ford part, code P0175

I had a code of 0175 and replaced this valve based of research I completed. Replacing it helped me pinpoint the true issue. Once I replaced the canister purge valve, the code P1507 came up instead. For Ford this is a very specific code, it is the IAC valve. I def recommend buying from walmart it is about $40 less than Ford or other auto part stores. can easily be replaced on own. There are 2 8mm bolts holding it in place right below drivers side windshield area under the hood. There are two hoses connected to pull off you need to press in tabs and pull hose off at the same time. There is a third smaller hose that can be pulled of with no tricks or difficulties.

Shorted out after only a few months.

I just went to check the resistance because I got a code on my truck. Come to find out the purge valve shorted out.
