Burpee Nantes Half Long Carrot is an heirloom variety from the mid-19th century, known for its productivity and flavor. Slim, easy-to-grow, almost coreless orange roots are 6-7" long, require no peeling, and are packed with vitamins. Delicious raw or cooked and great for freezing! Seed tapes save time by simplifying sowing of seeds. The organic paper tape keeps rows straight, seed depths uniform and seeds properly spaced. You can leave carrots in the ground after the first frost. In cold climates, pull carrots up before the ground freezes. In warm climates, you can harvest carrots all winter. The mature height at harvest will be 4 inches with a mature spread of 3 inches. The best growing zones are 1-11.
