Cute little tree. I put mine away from the house, neat the driveway where it was out in the open. I have an 18ft flagpole, so I put a tie-rap around the tree and the pole to keep it nicely vertical and make sure the wind didn't blow it away. Needed to buy a 40' extension cord and put rocks on the base to hide it. A remote would have been a nice bonus.

Purchased this item at a reduced/flash sale price thinking that it'd be just okay to use as a front lawn decoration for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product! It is plastic and very lightweight so you need to know that it doesn't come with any ground stakes. Stakes are needed (which I had on hand). If you don't use any, be prepared to walk outside every morning and find the tree laying down on the lawn. It has a base with 4 holes to place stakes in. The slightest breeze will tip it over. It has plenty of lights for its' 4 ft. height. I would buy another one (and I will next year) except that I also bought a 6 ft. tree. This tree is easy to assemble. I spent more time arranging the branches to my liking than putting it together. Item arrived in great condition, no broken lights, branches, or other parts.
