Duplicolor 1KCM 1K Matte Clear Coat UV Protection Gasoline Resistant Scratch Res

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] used dupli color-2 cans prep spray, 5 cans primer, 4 cans black, 4 cans clear, 2 cans metal cast purple, 2cans dupli color BLACK RIM PAINT, 1 can Vht- Black out tail light spray, 5 cans Rostolium custom neon Green, to restore an old Race Go-kart I sanded all parts down to the bare metal that where painted or had any rust on them. I degreased everything with alcohol and acetone. I then wet sanded between every coat and used alcohol and a tack cloth between coats because I did this out side during the winter months on the side of my house. I feel like the dupli color paint worked great especially for a rattle can I plan on polishing everything after a couple weeks to have it ready for the summer. I feel like everything came out great, I had a couple hiccups but that was on me being inpatient. I did have a couple cans that messed up on me but it's expected. I will not give the company/paint itself a bad review because of that everything else worked as it should. I feel like this is a great paint for project and could definitely make something look brand new again. On the other hand if you're trying to use this on a car because you don't want to spend money at a shop or you buy rattle cans because you don't have Professional/shop paint guns. Don't blame the product because you painted your car with it and didn't do a test sample to check the color mach first. Especially if you're Vehicle is a few years old because the paint probably did match 10,20 years ago when it was NEW. It's a good product if you have some experience and maybe with none as long as your handy.
