I was very surprised by this foundation - the quality was up there with some higher end foundations.It is certainly creamy and matte, it feels lovely on the skin and gives a matte but not cakey finish.  I used a sponge to apply and it gave a medium to full coverage.  I have pale skin with pink undertones and often have trouble finding foundation in the affordable brands that is light enough and doesn't make me look orange,  I used 10 Porcelain Ivory and it was perfect.I have combination (normal/oily) skin, and found that using a mattifying primer helped it last all day.  I will certainly purchase this product again.

I love Maybelline foundations and this one is no different. At first I thought the shade Ivory was a pit too orange for me but after putting it on my face and doing my regular makeup routine it was the right shade.I wore this out to dinner and it last the whole night, it left my skin feeling velvety soft and covered imperfections perfectlt. I can definitely see myself repurchasing this foundation in the future.

As a working mum I need a foundation that lasts all day, but doesn't feel too heavy on my skin.This new Dream Velvet works a treat. Can be applied very quickly in the morning,and the foundation substance provides a nice colour that matched my skin tone perfectly and left my skin feeling hydrated all day. The size of the product which is 30ml is compact enough that you can put in your handbag and if need be can touch up at night. A great foundation that I would recommend!
