Amazing

I had never watched Battlestar Galactica until about a month ago when I watched one episode on SciFi. I thought it was the most original show I have seen on tv. I had to buy the first season cause I wanted more. This season one box set includes the entire uncut season one AND the 4 hour miniseries. I have already bought Season 2, 2.5, and 3 of Battlestar Galactica, I'm hooked! The show has a nice blend of drama, action, romance, and politics. This show is for any fan of scifi, or anyone who wants something original and interesting.

Best show in years

With an engaging plotline, a character driven story, and excellent special effects, the first season of Battlestar Galactica will wow anyone. Instead of constant battles against the enemies of humanity, the show focuses on the human aspect of each of the characters, and how they deal with the near-annihilation of the species. Although the first season is only thirteen episodes, the first disc of the set includes the original mini-series that begins the story. The final episode includes a cliffhanger that led to the first episode of season two being the most watched show in SciFi Channel's history. Watch and enjoy.
